When Willie Shared His Experience with Me.

The first time Willie shared his experience with me, we were just talking about some struggles he was having with finding a job, or steering his future.  Willie is a young man in his late teens.  He is my nephew by marriage.  So we were just talking as an uncle and friend to a nephew and friend.  He began to share his dream experience by saying, “I saw a demon once.  A demonic spirit.”

When he said that, an image flashed into my mind.  I interrupted him and replied, “Don’t tell me.  Let me describe to you what the demon looked like.  The demon that you saw.”  Willie agreed.

I continued, “You saw a beetle.  About three feet high and four feet long.  Gangly spine-like legs and a small head like a lady bug.  Except the head had a face on it.  A non-descript face of sorts and the beetle was fast, kind of transparent.  It was shadow-dark and had rough armor-like bumps on its shell.”

Willie was nodding the whole time.  He then replied, “Yes, that’s what the beetle looked like.”

How did I know what Willie saw?  How could I have guessed what that spirit looked like in his dream?  I don’t have that answer.  It was just an image that flashed into my head and I was inspired to validate that image flash before Willie had a chance to describe it to me.  Somehow, he didn’t seem all that surprised that I knew what the demonic spirit looked like in his dream.  I told him that I’d seen one once as well.  I was basically describing the beetle that I saw in my room where I do my writing.  I wasn’t dreaming at the time I saw it though.  I was awake.  I’ve also sensed similar beetle demons loitering behind a backyard fence at my Mother in-laws’ home in Tennessee. As if they await opportunity.

With Willie though, it wasn’t my dream, it was his.  It wasn’t me who saw it.  It was Willie.  And it wasn’t a figment of my imagination that I could describe the image that Willie saw.  That was the first time I ever read, or interpreted a dream from someone else’s mind.

Did your phone ring while you were reading this page?  Did someone knock on your door?  Did the lights flicker in your room?  Those are distractions that can take you away from hearing.  The spiritual realm contains both living good and living evil.  Actions of light as well as actions of darkness result.  The spiritual realm exists only because God allows it to.  The spiritual realm is where the confrontation is revealed.  The war.  This war is mentioned in the Bible. [1] Ephesians 6:12.

Fortunately for us all, a shadow that is cast from the spiritual to the physical is always revealed by light.  Without light, there is no shadow revealed. Eventually, light is revealed and the shadow disappears.  The rock that conceals the scorpion is overturned. [2] The act of evil is temporary.  The memory of evil results in good.  That’s inevitable.  Prophecy reveals.

[1] The Holy Bible.  Ephesians 6:12. (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

[2] The sentence pronounced by God to Satan for his intervention on earth: Holy Bible Genesis 3:14,15. (KJV) And the LORD God said unto the serpent, “Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
